When I arrived at his house the next day, his wife explained that she had just cleaned the windows but was nervous about cleaning the upper bank of windows; so, I cleaned these and then spoke with Barnaba about why he had participated and whether or not this could be thought of as art. I also explained that I would be making a sculpture gift out of plaster with text and that the text would refer to our interaction. I then showed him some examples of similar plaster sculptures, explained how they are both positive and negative forms, and how they relate to my idea of the third sculpture.
