Ireally loved this site. The Mariko Mori interview was pretty impressing. I saw her speak at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh ,Pa. I live near Pittsburgh but I will be attending Pratt Instite in NY.

http://www.abcnews.go.com/sections/living/DailyNews/rayjohnson_art.html

The circumstances surrounding the 1995 suicide of pre-Pop artist Ray Johnson suggest that he had planned his death for decades, and made it an integral part of his art all along. Though he was well known among artists, Johnson drew little mainstream attention while he was alive. Major exhibits at the Whitney Museum in New York City and early next year in an Ohio museum may change that. A story on the Whitney exhibition accompanied by a slide show of Johnson's mail art and collages and a knock-out interactive graphic on Johnson's mysterious death can be found at: http://www.abcnews.go.com/sections/living/DailyNews/rayjohnson_art.html

How can I be a part of this?

I come from a fine arts background, and around 1994 chose to get involved with the web and internet with the ultimate objective of providing a place to develop and refine my artistic career. I got more than I bargained for! The intense humanitarian implication of having such ready and unabridged access to people propelled me into the internet at light speed. Soon I forgot I was an artist.. doing HTML HTML HTML, email email email, until about three years later I was hit by one of those old familiar inspirations... And i began to paint again. I am now looking for opportunities to promote my work and "get it out there". I keep the web under my belt, coding & designing for AT&T during the day, meditating and painting at night and in the morning. My apologies for the gush. hope you found it nostalgic or at least interesting.. anyway I want toknow how I could arrange to have my work in the Walkerart museum/gallery. They are mixed media collage paintings. I am planning to put together an online one-man showing of them within a month or so. I am sure there ar emany ways of approaching this, so I thought I had better ask one of your staff. I may be reached at bahshepsu@hotmail.com bahshepsu@aol.com, or by telephone at 908-351-2115 Thanks Tufani "BahShepsu" Mayfield

please update info about "permanent food"

it's hard to find this strange & excellent magzine "permanent food" in any bookshop in Vienna, it's really rare food. please tell them to keep information here in adaweb fresh that addicts know when fresh food is available. today I bought # 6 - seems to be the latest issue.
